Description
⚠️ NOTE: Before printing the international short version, consider checking out the Corona strong version—it might suit your needs better.
Additionally, strong versions for Pilsner Urquell and Heineken are available
⚠️ WARNING: The opener can be very loud, and the cap can be at high speed. Please ensure safe use and be aware of your surroundings. Use at your own risk.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The opener will only work if it matches your bottle type. Please read the fitment instructions before printing.
Not compatible with twist-off beer bottles. If you run into any issues, feel free to reach out — I’ll be happy to help!
Is the quiet hiss when opening your favorite drink just too boring?
Do you want to inform everyone around you about your well-deserved break subtly?
Or maybe you even need to scare off dangerous wildlife? 😄
Then this is exactly what you need 👉 Extremely loud bottle opener 💥🍺
I designed this bottle opener with one clear goal 👉 To make the cap pop as hard as possible!
It may look simple, but the technical design is optimized to lever off the bottle cap as efficiently as possible.
Now opening bottles is actually fun 😄
The result turned out to be surprisingly loud — perfect for surprising someone 😄 But be careful: not for the faint of heart!
During testing, I measured sound levels of over 110 dB (NIOSH SLM app).
Here are some not recommended use cases:
🍾 Before you print: Fitment Notice
Compare the bottle shapes shown in the images below with your own bottle, choose the one that fits best, and select the correct print profile.
German Strong Version (Recommended for german bottles)
Corona Strong Version (Recommended for international bottles.)
Heineken Strong Version
Pilsner Strong Version
Modelo Strong Version
German Light Version
Pilsner Light Version
International Short Version (for small bottles)
If none of the options fit your needs, I’ve created a parametric print profile that lets you perfectly adapt the opener to your bottle. You can find the instructions in the documentation.

💪 Enforced Lever with M3x6 Double-pass Knurled Brass Stud
To increase the lifespan of the lever, I developed a version with a brass threaded stud attachment. The corresponding profile, “Reinforced Lever”, for the German Strong Version has already been uploaded. The lever for other bottle versions will follow soon.
To assemble it, simply screw the threaded stud onto the pin on the lever. If necessary, use flat-nose pliers.
You can obtain the required M3x6 Double-pass Knurled Brass Stud via the BOM. By doing so, you also support the project and its further development.
🖨️ Print Information
Print time: approx. 45–60 minutes
Filament usage: approx. 20–30 g
Material: The base should be printed with PLA to ensure maximum stiffness—unless you’re printing with PPA-CF or something similar. 😱 PETG also works, but it’s more flexible than PLA and tends to bend more during use of the opener.
The lever can be printed with the material of your choice; wear and tear depend heavily on the filament itself as well as the printing process. For me, Bambu Basic PLA and no-name PETG work just fine.
Other parts are hardly subjected to stress, so PLA is the simplest choice here.
The base of the opener should be printed with high strength to prevent it from flexing.
Pre-configured print profiles are included. Here are the basic parameters:
0.24 mm Standart @BBL Profile
- Layer Height: 0.24 mm
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Walls: 6
- Infill: 40% gyriod
- Seam position: Random
- No support needed
Reinforced Lever
- Layer Height: 0.24 mm
- Walls: 4
- Infill: 30% gyriod
- Support: required
🧩 Assembly
The opener consists of 3 (light version) or 4 (reinforced version) parts that can be assembled quickly and easily.
Light Version
Attach the lever (2) to the base (1) and secure it with the nut (3).
Reinforced Version
For the reinforced version, place the finger guard (4) between the lever (2) and the nut (3).
⚙️ Usage
⚠️ Be careful when operating the lever — watch your fingers, there is a risk of pinching!
🧪 Prototyping
This project took quite a bit of time, filament — and my wife’s patience 😄
