Description
This project is a redesign of the Otto robot into a compact forklift.
Includes a cable-driven lifting system that can raise cargo to a higher position
The parts are designed to be easy to print, and most components can be printed without supports
The attachment is easily removable
Includes a small pallet and a mini Prusament spool
The additional lifting servo uses connector 4 (pin 26)
Open the Thonny app and connect to your robot.
Upload the rc.py file directly into the root directory of the robot
Control via the HP Otto phone app
Note: The control method is still under development and may be improved or changed in the future. This setup was used for testing purposes
Thanks AlexJustAlex for his source code: https://github.com/UEA-envsoft/HP-Otto-Construction-Otto - it made everything much easier to understand and implement. Check out his other great models for the Otto robot here: https://www.printables.com/@AlexJustAlex_476452
