❓ Why We Open-Source Only GEN4 (Not the Latest Version)

We have received immense love and support from global fans for our AutoFling auto-loading slingshot series.

We officially sell our upgraded, lightweight latest version on our website with worldwide DDP shipping. However, many countries still face shipping bans or import restrictions, so we cannot deliver our official products to those regions.

For this reason, we are releasing the AutoFling GEN4 3D-printable files for personal non-commercial use only, allowing restricted-region fans to experience our original design.

🛠️ Important Technical Reason for Opening GEN4 Only

GEN4 has the thickest handle structure in the entire product line. Its robust geometry is the only version suitable for 3D printing.

All newer versions (our latest models and onward) were redesigned for CNC machining and lightweight performance. Their thinner frames and optimized structures are NOT compatible with 3D printing and will fail easily if printed.

Therefore, GEN4 is the only printable version in our product lineup.

⚠️ Extremely Critical Safety & Structure Warning

This 3D printed GEN4 model is not comparable in any way to our official CNC metal latest versions.

3D printed parts are extremely fragile and prone to instant cracking. To avoid breakage or safety issues:

• Use only low-power, reduced-tension rubber bands. Do not use full-strength official bands.
• Always use the correct operating technique: properly grip the pouch with your rear hand.
• If the rubber band or projectile slaps the frame during release, the printed body will split or shatter immediately.

This open-source print version is only for casual personal experience — not for durable or frequent use.
