Discover this elegant and functional watch display stand designed to showcase up to 6 watches across two rows of three. Perfect for enthusiasts or collectors, this stand combines style and practicality to highlight your favorite timepieces.

 

To place or remove a watch, simply apply gentle upward pressure on the cushion row ⬆️ and pull it toward the back of the frame 🔄. Once your watches are removed or placed, lock the cushions back into the frame by reversing the process ⬇️🔒. The design features:

• A sturdy frame: Thoughtfully crafted to hold and align the display securely.
• Six plastic “cushions”: Each cushion provides a soft and stable base to keep your watches in place.
• Motion sensor lamp compatibility: The frame is designed to integrate seamlessly with a motion-detecting lamp from Aliexpress. [Link here - 10 cm version]

Materials Recommendations 🧵 :

To achieve the best aesthetic:

• Cushions: Use marble PLA for a modern, fabric-like appearance.

• Frame: I recommend grey PLA for an elegant finish, though black or wood filament also provide excellent results. 

  For a refined look, a cream-white filament works beautifully for the cushions.

Printing Recommendations 🖨️ :

For faster printing of the frame, I recommend using a 0.6mm nozzle, as it provides significant time savings without heavily impacting quality. If you only have a 0.4mm nozzle, don't worry—it should work perfectly fine (though I haven’t personally tested it for the frame).

 

To minimize warping on the frame:

• If possible, print using a Cool Plate.
• If a Cool Plate isn’t available, use a brim or a raft to improve adhesion and reduce the chances of warping.

Disclaimer ⚠️ :
I strongly discourage printing the frame on an A1 Mini, as the frame takes up the printer’s entire build plate. This can lead to significant warping, even with the Cool Plate. However, I’ve provided a profile for the A1 Mini for those willing to attempt it, though larger printers are highly recommended for this project.
