Before downloading, please read the following points:

1. Due to the size of the previous version, it could not be printed on the a1m printer, so in response to some people's suggestions, a smaller version has been made.

However, I still maintain the original size of the scabbard, because after shrinking it will make the overall proportions become very strange, so a1m owners can consider cutting the scabbard in half and then print it, and then glue it together

2. Usually this type of retractable sword is more suitable for appreciation, if you want to give children to play, please pay attention to the safety of children, the blade has a thickened, hit will hurt!

3. I used pla+ for the sword parts, and pla+, matte, silk for the other parts. The length of the blade alone is 16cm, the length of the blade section is 48cm, and the length of the whole knife including the handle is 66cm.

4. Due to the curvature of the blade, if you swing too hard, the end of the blade may not be able to retract, so please swing with low force and do not face a crowd!  The best way to draw a sword is to make a quick pull from the scabbard, which is both safe and ensures that the sword is fully extended, as shown in the video!
 

5. Need two m3 * 8 hexagonal screws, or similar specifications of the self-tapping screws, used to fix the handle cover, to avoid the knife sliding out, if not, can be glued, the disadvantage is that it is impossible to replace the knife body

6. When the handle is printed and the handguard is glued, please rotate it with a little force, normally it should be rotated like in the video. Lubricate if necessary.

7. Because the model is colored, I suggest you to download the 3MF file I provided, load it and change it to your desired color, if you are a non-bambu slicer user, please refer to my 3MF file first before modifying it to your desired parameter.( it is not necessary to use prime tower.)

When you encounter problems:
8. due to the different characteristics of each brand of pla+, you may encounter a situation where the blade falls off or can't extend completely, this is not a problem I can solve, please change your slicer parameters “hole compensation”, (can't extend +0.05~+0.09, easy to fall off -0.05~-0.09)
 

9. The model doesn't stick to the bed(bad adhesion), the model tilts over and falls off or warp during printing, the printout is not beautiful, etc. Generally, it is the problem of the printing plate or the printer, in addition to the other problems mentioned above, if you can, please provide the photos and explain them in detail in text, I will provide the best efforts to help you solve the problem.
