Nozzle Wiper Handle

This handy handle lets you attach a nozzle wiper from a Bambu A1 printer—something you likely already have in your spare parts if you own an A1. If not, they are available on the Bambu store or through third-party online retailers. The design features a tapered hole that securely holds the wiper in place.

The handle is perfect for removing oozing or stuck melted plastic on the nozzle and around the silicone sock.

 

Printing Instructions

 

If you printed V1.0 and the wiper detaches, trim the lip around the bottom of the wiper and consider adding glue if the problem persists with a used wiper. V1.1 addresses this issue, but if you're using an old wiper, please use glue. Thank you for your support!

 

Assembly Instructions

1. Insert the Wiper:
   • If it's a new wiper, remove the transparent blue backing from the adhesive tape.
   • Insert the wiper with the side that has the most rounded edge facing outward.
   • Use a flat screwdriver or a similar tool (not too sharp) to gently press the wiper into place.
   • Ensure the wiper sits securely in the tapered section at the bottom by gently pushing it with your fingers.

Cleaning Instructions

1. Lower the bed to allow easy access, making sure it doesn't come into contact with the nozzle to prevent interference with cleaning or future prints.
2. Preheat the nozzle to around 200°C.
3. Gently rub the nozzle back and forth to remove any debris.
4. Turn off the nozzle after cleaning.
