Makita RP2301 Adjustable Edge Guide

Here is a micro adjustable edge guide for the Makita RP2301 router. You can add a longer fence if you would like or need to; I used a strip of HDPE. This could be used on any router that has a centre to centre rod spacing of 115 mm and uses 12mm rods - or you could print bushings for smaller rods. 

 

You will need a couple lengths of 12mm rod, 4x M6x25mm hex head bolts, and 4x M6 threaded inserts. 

 

I would recommend using a M14x2 tap and die to clean up the threads.

 

You will need to glue an end cap in place, making sure to add a big of grease on the rotating surfaces to avoid binding.
