3DBenchy Sweet Cake

I might not win the contest… but hey, at least I brought the cake!

For the 10th Anniversary of the legendary 3DBenchy, I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a sweet-themed remix of the iconic boat — turned into a full-on birthday cake!

I created each piece from scratch so it can be printed in any color combination you like — the version you see here is just one possibility among many.

Technical details:

The project is split across 6 print plates

Total filament used: around 250g

Total print time: approx. 13h 30min

The longest single print is the one with the multicolored piping details, about 5 hours – but you can totally go for a single-color version if you prefer

I've tried to include clear photos and videos showing how to assemble everything — pay close attention to the order of assembly! You’ll need some super glue, and it’s best to have all pieces printed before starting the build.
