Description
Made this small (2"x2") pin-art fidget toy because I wanted thinner, longer pins than the pin art toys available and wanted it to print in 2 separate plates for easy color change/contrast without wasting a lot of print time and filament. It took a lot of testing to get this to work but the end result feels and sounds so satisfying when you play around with it.
Version 2 was requested to be modular/stackable by @WardenCrafty so I made an interlocking tapered dovetail to stack them together. I also took the opportunity to optimize the print settings to reduce the print time by half from the original.

*Note: Cleaning the plate with dish soap and water before the print can help adhesion if you have any issues.
For putting the parts together note that they only will slide together in a certain direction because of the taper of the slot. If you look at the orientation that they are printed the sides with the 2 male dovetails on the left and top, the bases that are on the right side or bottom side will enter from the above down towards the table. You may find that this is easier to do before the pins are installed.
