Description
I’ve always been drawn to architecture and iconic landmarks, which is why I started creating bookmarks inspired by famous places from around the world.
This bookmark features the Eiffel Tower, located in Paris, France. Built in 1889, the tower was originally constructed as the main entrance for the World’s Fair, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. At the time, it was meant to showcase modern engineering and the possibilities of iron construction rather than become a permanent symbol.
Although controversial when it was first built, the Eiffel Tower gradually became one of the most recognized landmarks in the world. Today, it represents innovation, progress, and Paris itself, with its tall, elegant structure making it especially well suited for a vertical bookmark design.
The bookmark measures approximately 160 × 47 mm, making it slim and comfortable to use between the pages.
