Description
I’ve always been drawn to architecture and iconic landmarks, which is why I started creating bookmarks inspired by famous places from around the world.
This bookmark depicts Notre-Dame Cathedral, located in Paris, France. Construction began in 1163, and the cathedral became one of the most important examples of Gothic architecture in Europe. Its design introduced groundbreaking elements for its time, including flying buttresses and large stained-glass windows that allowed more light into massive stone structures.
For centuries, Notre-Dame has been a cultural, religious, and architectural symbol of Paris. Even today, it remains one of the most studied and recognized historic buildings in the world, representing the ambition and craftsmanship of medieval architecture.
This bookmark captures the strong vertical lines and detailed facade of the cathedral in a clean, monochrome style that works especially well for reading.
Size: approx. 48 × 160 mm
