Description
This wall mount is my take on the blue fixtures which cradle the Saturn V on display at Kennedy Space Center. When I first started modeling this mount, I was fixated on copying the one at the museum but in the end I felt the transition to the wall became clunky and excessive. The final version you see here gives the illusion of an engineered fixture without being overbearing. I printed mine in Bambu Lab blue ABS but you can use any filament of your choice. If you like more of an industrial look, simply clone one more bracket and install 3.
In addition to this bracket, I have another on Maker World (follow me) which is meant to be minimalist. I printed that one in white and it blends in nicely with the rocket as well as my light gray wall. I also have a table top version of this bracket so be sure to check it out.
