Saturn V 1:100 Scale(43") Apollo Display Stand

These display stands print quickly and look awesome.  I recall walking under the Saturn V on display at the Kennedy Space Center and these are a tribute to that display.  I was originally working on making them scale to the ones at the museum but I felt they were a little clunky and to be honest, I think they would have been too reliant on support.

I printed the prototype in ABS because that was the only blue filament I had but I would probably recommend PLA for this model as I think it prints nicer.  I also have a wall version of this mount in addition to a smooth curved wall mount which is designed to be more minimalist.  Be sure to follow me to find those options and to see my other totally non-related models.
