🎨 How to Customize
1. Basic Settings
- Enter the name or text you want to print and adjust the Size.
- ⚠️ CRUCIAL STEP: Slightly reduce the Letter Spacing. Look closely at the 3D preview and make sure EVERY letter overlaps and connects. The text must print as one single, solid piece so it doesn't fall apart!
2. How to Use Custom Fonts & Other Languages The dropdown menu includes 10 of the best cursive fonts. But if you want to print in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or use a specific style, it's super easy:
- Step 1: Enter your text. (If you see empty "square boxes" in the preview, don't panic!)
- Step 2: Check the box for Use Custom Font Name.
- Step 3: In the text box below it, accurately paste the exact name of the font you want. (💡 Tip: Browse Google Fonts to find fonts you love).
- Step 4: Click Generate. The square boxes will instantly transform into your chosen font!
👕🔥 The Ultimate PLA Iron-On Tutorial
What you need:
- Your printed text. (Note: Because it is only 0.3mm thin, wait for your build plate to cool completely before removing the text to avoid tearing).
- A standard household iron.
- A sheet of baking paper / parchment paper.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Step 1: Lay your clothing flat on a hard, sturdy table. (Do NOT use a soft ironing board).
- Step 2: Place your printed PLA name on the fabric exactly where you want it.
- Step 3: 🛑 CRITICAL WARNING: Cover the PLA text completely with a sheet of baking paper! NEVER let the hot metal of the iron directly touch the PLA, or you will ruin your iron!
- Step 4: Set your iron to Medium-High heat (Cotton/Linen setting, around 150-160°C). Turn OFF the steam function.
- Step 5: Press the iron down firmly over the baking paper for 10 to 15 seconds. (Do NOT rub or slide the iron, just press straight down with strong pressure).
- Step 6: Remove the iron. DO NOT PEEL THE PAPER YET! Wait about 1 minute for the clothing and PLA to completely cool down and harden. Once cool to the touch, gently peel away the baking paper. (💡 Pro Tip: If any edges aren't fully stuck down, place the baking paper back over it and press firmly for another 5 seconds.)
🧼 Washing Tips: It is machine washable! Turn the garment inside out and wash with COLD water only. NEVER use hot water or a heated tumble dryer, or the PLA will melt and warp!
