Description

check out the free-wheeling push racer:

Please make sure your build plate is clean and free of grease and oil before printing. Although it didn’t happen in my testings, there are reports of it failing near the end of the print. If this happens to you, your build plate isn’t as clean as you think it is. Good luck 🙂

A pocket sized rubber band racer, featuring a unibody design that is lightweight and strong; and fun demonstration of how bevel gears work, powered by 2 rubber bands. 1:1 gear ratio.

Check out the Drag Pack from @eee2 in the print profile, make sure to read the descriptions 🙂

O rings: https://amzn.to/4dzJFLV
Rubber band: https://amzn.to/3MfHNvR

Due to its unibody design, it could be a challenge to bigger hands to assemble it.

All parts
Insert the rear axels into the rear wheels and stretch the o rings over them, front wheels use 1 each and 2 for each rear wheel.
Insert the bearings first, there are 5 rings on the model
Then place the axel gear in between the rear bearings and then insert the rear axels and squeeze tight so they go all the way in.
Insert the the front wheel and then place the retainer ring on the axel from the inside of the car.
Use a tweezer or thin plier to attach a rubber band to each side of the hook and the hook in the front of the car.

Printed with PLA Matte and Galaxy, but should work with any other filament.
