Description
I built this watering tank with integrated 80gph submersible pump (similar to this one) pumping through the wall to 4-¼" irrigation tubing connections. I typically run it for 1 minute twice a day using a smart plug (this one rated for outdoor use) to keep my patio plant watered. The tank is built from PETG and maximized the full build volume of the p1S as closely as I could get it (I tried PLA first and it did not hold up to the sun for very long at all.) It holds >3.5 gallons of water which is enough for me to go on vacation for a week without killing my sweet potato vines.
Lid, pump connection, and all-thread covers are made from TPU but could probably be made from PETG (except the pump connector needs TPU or other design with soft o-ring)
Other parts needed:
¼" all-thread (4 pieces about 13" each to go through the handle and tank to get tightened on each side)
8 - ¼" nuts/washers
