Description
This 3D-printed grass trimmer is a cost-effective solution for trimming small patches of grass or weeds. The gearbox offers a 9:1 speed increase, allowing the cutting blade to reach speeds of up to 13,500 RPM when paired with a standard drill. This makes it a powerful and affordable alternative to traditional grass trimmers.
The attachment features a standard drill bit input, meaning it is compatible with any drill. Simply connect the trimmer to your drill, and you’re ready to start cutting.
The gearbox is designed for a 9:1 speed increase. This means that with a standard drill operating at around 1500 RPM, the blades will spin at approximately 13,500 RPM.
For safety reasons, set a torque limit on your drill and gradually increase the speed.
Also, for safety reasons (and this shouldn't need to be said), BE CAREFUL. This is a tool, not a toy!
Thank you! 😊
Self tapping screws can be replaced with standard machine screws but self tapping would be more secure
