K1 Max Switch mount for 3D Chameleon

If you look closely at the pictures you will see that this placement of the switch gets it out of the way so it is impossible for the X or Y carriages to crash into it. This placement is also compatible with the belt tension mods and many of the riser mods. 
 

To install it you just need to use the 2mm hex tool to remove the screw that holds the bearing into place. Then reuse the same screw to hold this mount in place as well. 

With the switch in this position it will only trigger when the Y axes is moved to Y303-305.  Thats great because it allows us to print using the full 300 x 300 print bed. 

You should use a filament that is heat resistant.  ASA or ABS at a minimum.  NO PLA.  Not sure how well PETG will do when it gets really hot in there.

I STRONGLY RECCOMEND:

The 3D Chameleon can cause the PTFE tubes to fall out of the stock PTFE tube couplers.  I suggest you use these PC4-M10 coupler adapters.
