Algae Shield - Delonghi Dedica

My Delonghi Dedica espresso machine gets a lot of sunlight from the kitchen window, and since the water tank is transparent, this is ground for quite a bit of algae growth. I got tired of cleaning it constantly, especially over the summer, and made this little thing, which totally fixed the problem 😊 

The shape is slightly springy and clicks nicely into the groove between the tank and the machine body.
