Description
I had this idea for a box that uses two shadow gaps as a design element.
There are two ways to construct such a model for 3D printing. The boring way which uses color changes and small support structures and the cooler way which consists of several parts and is simply plugged together.
So I constructed the model twice, which is why there are two different types of folders: Multipart and Colorchange.
The lower parts of the colorchange version require a small support structure, while the multipart version can be printed without it and is then simply clipped together.
I've uploaded a few different sizes but since the model is parametric, you can download the f3d file and customize the model to your desired dimensions in Fusion360!
Open the parameter menu and change the dimensions Width, Depth and Height which are marked as favorites.
Note that these dimensions have a minimum and ( partly ) a maximum size, below or above this the model cannot be scaled. The parameters are automatically limited, so you cannot accidentally use an incorrect dimension.
The specified dimensions refer to the outer dimensions of the box.
The files are called Container150100200, for example. This specifies the width x depth x height.
