Description

The inexpensive tool box from Harbor Freight is becoming a favorite for budget conscious slot car racers. These simple trays make the easy, just print however many you need.

The first tray is for 1/32 cars and has room for 4 cars that are within 163x68mm in size. The guide slot is large enough for pretty much any guide size and position. There are cutouts for all four wheels to help keep your tires pristine no matter how long they have to wait for their turn to race.

Use your preferred slicer to add text customization to the top surface to make them your own!

Update 2025/08/05 - Added posts to the back corners of the tray so that the tray can be pulled mostly out but not tip down and spilling the cars. Just make sure that the posts are still under the rails before you let go!

Update: 2025/07/02 - Lengthened the slot so that Pioneer Legends can have all four wheels in the wheel wells. Also split the part and added 3/32" holes (2.5mm) that are 25mm deep into the print so that a 49mm rod of some material can be used to help hold the two parts together and stiffen the joint, thus allowing the shelves to be printed on any machine with a bed that is at least 165x140mm in size.
