Description
The valve on an old humidifier failed and was replaced. The new valve had ¼" for both the inlet and outlet tubing. The copper intake from the old valve was ¼" with a larger diameter output for the metal tubing and would not work with the new valve. New ¼" plastic tubing was used to replace the metal tubing but needed a printed part to hold it in place.
This model was printed with TPU and used to hold the new ¼" tubing in place. The part was inserted into the bottom of the humidifier cap. The hose was put through the part, and everything is held in place with a zip tie.
The parametric model was designed in FreeCAD and can be adjusted for different use needs.
