Accessories for Festool MFT 3 bench

I have created a set of accessories that will help you organize and improve your workflow.

All stl models that contain the "festool" logo have the logo incorporated, which can be divided into parts for multicolor use, or split into objects to remove the logo and print it separately. for each accessory, i have created a separate stl of the logo with a tolerance of 0.15 mm to be able to glue it into its housing.

WARNING: THE MEASUREMENTS MAY VARY BY A FEW TENTHS DEPENDING ON THE PRECISION OF YOUR PRINTER. THE LARGER COMPONENTS ARE THE ONES TO WHICH I HAVE GIVEN MORE TOLERANCES AND THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEMS, WHILE FOR THE SMALLER COMPONENTS, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS BY SCALING THE MODEL.

Tray with clamp holder:

 


There are 3 variants that differ in the number of trays: one with 1 tray, one with 2 trays, and one with 3 trays. Additionally, they have a hole for inserting clamps, making them compatible with both the FSZ 120 and FS-HZ 160 models.

Lockable bench dogs:

There are 2 types of stops:

• One consists of two cylinders, one at the base with a diameter of Ø20 mm that fits into the hole of the MFT 3 table, and the upper part measures Ø30 mm.
• The other is identical to the previous one but has a cut on the upper part to provide a flat portion for resting objects without leaving marks. I have also created a small step between the two cylinders to hold any very thin pieces of 2 mm.

Both have a locking system that operates via an M8x25 mm countersunk head screw and an M8 flanged nut, which, thanks to its conical shape, allows the cylinder to be tightened evenly. The M8 nut is press-fitted into the stop. I made many attempts to find the right tolerances to avoid breaking the tabs that prevent the nut from coming out of its seat. This lock is only to have a fixed point on the workbench, which, despite vibrations and continuous impacts, will not move from its position.

Additionally, there is a convenient shelf to organize your items, with recessed shapes to keep everything in order.

Clamp screws:

The cylinder has a base of Ø20 mm that fits into the hole of the MFT 3 table, and the upper part measures Ø30 mm and is 10 mm high. The clamp screw is used to lock the rod after positioning it. It has a locking system that operates via an M8x40 mm countersunk head screw and an M8 flanged nut inserted into a small disc that rests on the underside of the bench.

The M8 nut is press-fitted into the lower cylinder. I made many attempts to find the right tolerances to avoid breaking the tabs that prevent the nut from coming out of its seat.

Additionally, there is a convenient shelf to organize your items, with recessed shapes to keep everything in order.

Adjustable rod:

A stop for the MFT 3 workbench is indispensable. For this reason, I have designed adjustable arms that can also be oriented diagonally. They are easily fixed with stops that tighten into the Ø20 mm hole.
The rod has been designed to be used even diagonally, with the possibility of adjusting it by sliding it between the stops. Thanks to its shape and central reinforcement, it ensures excellent resistance as well as having a nice design.

Hooks:

A convenient hook for hanging everything, cables, clothing, and anything you want to keep within reach. Its oversized shape allows it to withstand the weight of the hanging object, as well as resist impacts.
It does not require any screws to be anchored to the table, allowing it to be moved freely to organize the hanging objects.

Orbital sander holder:

I have designed three supports to accommodate your 90 mm, 125 mm, and 150 mm sanders. In addition to the Festool logo, I have also included the disc size label to immediately identify which sander to place.

Drill bits organizer:

To always have the drill bits at hand, I created this organizer compatible with the HSS D3-10 CE/10. Even though the measurements are already engraved on the bits, I wanted to make them larger on the organizer to improve visibility.

However, it is at your discretion to choose to print the logo and the measurements of the bits by dividing or separating the STL file.

Bench stops:

In addition to the lockable bench dogs, I thought that having stops to square and/or hold the workpiece could be very useful. I have created the following stops:

• A round one with a Ø30 mm single cylinder, similar to the lockable bench dogs.
• An elongated one measuring 50x30 mm with a single cylinder to support small pieces.
• One measuring 126x30 mm with two cylinders to support slightly larger pieces.
• One measuring 126x126 mm at 90 degrees with three cylinders to support the corner of an object.

All of these can be hung on a convenient support by inserting the cylinders into the appropriate holes.

Phone stand:

If you don't know where to place your phone, you can print this simple smartphone stand. I designed it with two side closures to prevent the phone from sliding sideways and to provide an adequate angle to see the entire screen. It is spacious enough to accommodate an iPhone 16 Pro Max.

It does not require any screws to be anchored to the table, allowing it to be moved freely to any side of your workbench.

Pen holder:

Finally, a pen holder is a must-have. It follows the design lines of the smartphone stand and does not require any screws to be fixed to the workbench. It is ideal for holding pencils, pens, cutters, and everything that needs to be within reach.
