Description
A box with a domed lid, somewhat reminiscent of a vintage pavilion or an antique tholos. It has a bayonet lock (twist lock or click lock in 3D-printing lingo) with a fairly strong click due to some springy elements.
It comes in several sizes, the images show D40H30 and D60H50. The dimensions noted are inside diameter and inside height of the base (i.e. not including the inside of the dome lid, which is roughly D/2 high). Resizing by some % should be fine, but resizing too much might get the clearance too small or too big. If you need a specific size, ask in the comments and there is a good chance I'll upload that.
Printing: Standard settings; with the bigger one I used variable layer height at the top of the dome for a smoother surface. Do not use wood filled filament for this kind of lock.
If you don't get it to close properly at first, it might need some convincing and breaking in. If the dome arches and columns are not aligned it's not properly closed.
