Description
This model is for adding a Recirculating Air Duct to the Flashforge Adventurer 5M (non-pro) to pull air through the HEPA filter and vent it back into the print chamber to maintain chamber temperature. Like the remix it is based on, this model does not have a vent to the rear; this is only for recirculating. It is designed for use with a 5015 blower-style fan, a 5020 will not fit, however, if there is interest, I can create a 5020 version. The fan is mounted using 2x standard PC Case fan screws (#6-32 ¼" Long Thread-Cutting Screws). However an M3/M4 screw passed all the way through with a nut would likely work if needed. In my testing with a 24V 5015 fan, the air flow was quite substantial, and air leaks were minimal, however, I may create TPU gaskets at some point. I've also included .STEP and Fusion 360 Archive files to allow others to easily modify the design.
NOTE: I've uploaded the (v7) Duct model, which thins the duct by 1mm to reduce how much the rear panel bows out.
INFO: If anyone is interested in how I wired up this and the external 40mm fan, I've created a write-up of my “DIY Fan Expansion Board” on Reddit here.
