Inspired by Rossero's Roll Up Chess and Clockspring's Scrollfrom Cylinder I wanted to do something similar, but minimalistic… This is the result. 

• The “hinges” are just thin bending sections of plastic, which should be sufficiently durable since they will only be bent by 30°.
• The colored design is achieved by 2 color changes, which can be done manually. Insert a color change where the diagonal stripes are and 5 layers (of 0.2mm) up.
• There are multiple sizes, and some make sets of 3 models that fit inside another. 
• Inside size is 9mm less diameter and 8mm less height. 
• The 2 lids are interchangeable; you can also use 2 of the same kind.

Printing: 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 2 color changes as described above.

Assembly: Carefully roll the flat sheet of slats into a cylindrical form and screw it into one of the lids - this might be a bit fiddly the first time. Then screw the other lid on. Subsequent assembling will be easier.
