Vibration dampers (squash balls feet)

Something that was longtime postponed - Vibration dampers.

If you want a really quiet printer, you can use these great looking vibration absorbers based on squash balls (two yellow dots). They are very easy to print. Extremely effortless to mounting in place - just lift your 3D printer and place them below. No screw or zip ties needed.

We created two sets of dampers - inner (inside the printer’s base frame) and outer (see pics). They can be used as is or in combinations. Also, the “Inner set” can be used with the side drawers at:

with the corresponding supports.

Your 3D printer will become really quiet. The tests that we did showed great improvement - on a not so stable workbench and directly on the wooden slab, the vibrations was barely sensitive. And the only sounds came from the part cooling fan.
