Description
Super-sized version of the mini tape gun. This version fits a regular 3 inch roll of packing tape.
Hot glue the parts together. Sharpen the cutter teeth using a metal file and a lighter. Hammer the end caps into the spool. Put some lubricant on the threads.
The small tape roll from the mini version is 1 inch inner diameter and .5 inch thick. The large tape roll is 3 inch inner diameter and 2 inch thick.
I scaled the print by by 2.994 / 1.020 in X and Y axis. Scaled by 1.916 / .494 in the Z axis.
Meshmixer, OpenSCAD, Netfabb were used to cut and scale the parts. I made the roller from scratch in OpenSCAD.
