Mjolnir – God of War Ragnarok

Description

This is a digital 3D printable model of  Mjölnir from the videogame God of War Ragnarok. Mjölnir is the powerful hammer wielded by Thor, the Aesir God of Thunder.
 

The download contains pieces of the models ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed and an OBJ file for viewing. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

The download contains:

• Hammer – STL is prepared in a way that it can be assembled with a light source to achieve the glowing rune’s effect and uncut OBJ for viewing the complete hammer (not suitable for one-piece printing.)
• 2 display stands – ornamented and clear version, modeled for supportless printing.
• Chains for attachment to a belt similarly to the videogame
• Blueprint and bill of materials in case you want to make it glow!

SIZE

At 100% scale the dimensions of the hammer are:

• Length approx. 383 mm
• Width approx. 217 mm
• Height approx. 135 mm

Also, you can scale the model as you wish, but we can’t guarantee that the model will print well at a much smaller size.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

We use these settings for most of our prints:
Layer height 0.2 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°
We use a 10 mm brim for tall parts with a small base for better bed adhesion.
Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.

ASSEMBLY

This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. We printed the larger parts on a Prusa MK3 printer. The hammerhead is cut into 2 halves. We used our Anycubic SLA printed for the smaller parts, sanded, primed, and painted all of them. Then assembled and added a LED stripe, battery, and switch.

This fan-made model was brought to life by 3Demon. We were asked to make several hammers as a winning prize in a competition held by the JRC store.
