Description
This is a model of the Titan Skeleton from The Owl House with articulated joints.
| Height | 223mm |
|---|---|
| Shoulder width | 55mm |
| Arm length | 93mm |
| Leg length | 112mm |
| Wingspan | 412mm |
| Tail Length | 221mm |
It has 55 parts (26 are in the tail). The movable joints are:
Every connection between different parts of the print is articulated. The only exception is the tail, which has a fixed connection, but contains 26 print-in-place articulated joints.
Printed at 0.15mm layer height. Requires supports. A 2-layer raft is recommended.
The torso needs organic supports.
The Slicer might complain about missing layers in the hands. You can ignore that.
I recommend printing the left and right wing separately so that you don't mix up the parts.
Stick the parts together as shown. If you have trouble fitting a ball into its socket, try different angles. Look for the angle where the opening in the socket is the widest.
View of the left wing from the back. These joints don't work as well as the other ones because they are very small. You might want to glue them in place.
The “fingers” are numbered II to V to emulate how they are counted on real wings.
The wing is based the wings of fruit bats.

UPDATE [2025-10-14] Fixed two errors in my model. Removed one “finger” from the wings and removed the floating ribs. The photos show my print with these errors, the renders show the fixed model.
