Faucet/Tap water filter M24

I often find that the filters in my taps calcify and the filter needs cleaning and descaling.
This gave me the idea to design a simpler filter that was easy to change and descale.

Here is the first version which is a compact all-in-one piece that can be installed without the need for tools.

There are several models with varying hole type and size - find the one that best suits the tap and sink you are using.

This model is primary for resin printing due to the small dimensions and the need for smooth surfaces to get the right laminar flow. It is possible to print with a FDM printer but the result is far from optimal.

For installation, the old rubber gasket must be reused and the filter must be screwed in gently, as the threads are plastic and can break.

As the filter is plastic and not metal, it can be soaked in vinegar or other acid for decalcification without any problems.
