Mei Lee from Turning Red

Meilin Lee is the protagonist of the Turning Red movie, an adorable Chinese-Canadian teenage girl that has the fantastic ability to transform into a Red Panda =) No more spoilers!

My daughter is a big fan of this movie, and she looks a bit like Mei, so I modeled it for her.

Printing Advice

I have made several printing tests, and I ended up getting a better result with glasses being printed separately. This also greatly facilitates painting the model afterward. All best settings are pre-loaded with the .3mf files (PrusaSlicer).

Mei Lee

These settings are pre-loaded within the file meilin_lee.3mf:

• PLA
• 0,20mm Structural
• 20% infill
• Brim enabled
• Paint-on supports (organic) on the base of the skirt only

Glasses

These settings are pre-loaded within the file glasses.3mf:

• PLA
• 0.15mm Structural
• 100% infill
• No brim
• Paint-on supports (snug) on the base of the glasses
