Lightning Cable Saver – Hot Glue Repair Mold

Give your worn or frayed Apple Lightning cables a second life with this easy-to-use repair mold. This 3D printed jig holds the damaged connector securely in place and allows you to encapsulate it with hot glue for a clean, strong, and flexible strain relief. Perfect for DIY repairs and extending the lifespan of your charging cables.

Important: Before filling with glue, coat the mold lightly with petroleum jelly (vaseline) to prevent sticking. After inserting the cable, clamp the two halves together firmly with a small clamp.

How it works:

• Insert the damaged Lightning cable into the mold.
• Lightly coat the mold with petroleum jelly to prevent sticking.
• Close the two halves to align the connector and secure them with a clamp.
• Fill the cavity with hot glue from a glue gun.
• Let it cool and remove the cable with its new protective housing.
