Pink Floyd at Pompeii

I love Steven Wilson ‘s music, so when I learned that he re-mixed the new release of PINK FLOYD AT POMPEII MCMLXXII , I had to check it out. I’ve explored more and more of Pink Floyd and appreciate both theirs and Wilson's music at a deeper level now. Here is my tribute to the excellent graphic design of the new release cover and poster!

This model can be used for display as 2.5D art. It is square like a CD or vinyl album sleeve.

It is friendly for 3D printing, even without MMU/AMS:

• rounded corners to avoid warping
• 5 colors max, 4 pauses
• not quite a hueforge, I drew each layer myself selecting important things and ease of printing, made the letters a lot “taller" for more of a 3D effect
• interesting infills, top patterns and other unusual, experimental approaches
• no supports

Without input shaper, printing slow to help definition, 20mm/s for example.
Infill at least 15% to hold top layers or text above, but you can play with patterns and higher percentages. 
I didn't use brims or rafts.

• No supports
   
• Pause-and-change-filament at certain heights to have different colors, even with a regular FDM setup. With MMU it's even easier
   
• Scale to whatever size is convenient for you. If the height is too much you can scale it down in the Z axis
   
• Feel free to experiment with colors and top fill patterns

Sequence of color changes:  Start w coral red > dark brown > teal > dark red > off-white
