Halloween in Layers - Horror Legends: Pinhead

The tenth figure in the collection has arrived, calm and terrifying in equal measure.

This version of Pinhead captures the cold precision and unsettling symmetry of the character. The layered design gives dimension to the grid-like pattern of his head and the iconic nails that define his look. Each piece builds the structure of his face and robe, creating a hauntingly balanced composition that feels both elegant and menacing.

I used light and dark greys with bone white highlights to emphasize the clean geometry of the design. The restrained color palette keeps the focus on form and texture, making every shadow feel deliberate and sharp.

Tip for Makers:

• Use matte whites and light greys for the face to maintain a cold, pale look.
• Try satin or metallic silver for the nails to give them subtle contrast.
• Keep the background matte black to strengthen the silhouette.
