I was in need of a way to mount my GoPro in multiple places without hauling around a tripod, no luck. So I decided to go ahead and design something that would fill that need. This is one of the best parts of learning and using a 3d printer, if you can’t find it MAKEIT.
All 3D printers are different, results will very.
Magnets.
3/8 x 3/16 Thick Neodymium Rare Earth Disc Magnets.
Ebay - Best option for price if available. Do not get the 10x5mm magnets they compare to being 3/8 x 3/16, they will be smaller.
AppliedMagnets - These will cost more because of shipping especially on low quantity orders.

Bolts.
Homedepot or Lowes
M5 x .8 x 50mm long bolts
Nuts.
Homedepot or Lowes
M5 x .8 nuts
Suction cups.
Adams Manufacturing - Unfortunately they only sell in big quantities. I’m trying to track down similar ones somewhere else and will update in the commends if I find some.
I buy magnets and suction cups in high quantities for other projects I've had so it was never a problem for me.
Of course these are only needed for the option mount. If you go to the link there’s a drawing you can look at with all the specs if you want to try and track some down.
