Tile Fabric - Print in place and snapfit

Printing

• Material: PETG (PLA will work too but snapfit features may wear quicker)
• Layer height: 0.20mm is fine
• Bed adhesion: you need decent adhesion capability like with most 3D printable fabrics

All other settings can be the default.

Features

The pattern is reversable, there is no top or bottom unless you have a build plate with a special texture.

Easy to print once the first layer is down, each tile has a single perimeter, reducing travel compared to interlocking loop fabric.

The fabric can also interlock to make 3D soft body's.

The fabric is very flat, its only 3mm thick, making it very light but not see through.

To connect or disconnect the tiles there is no tools needed. The snapfit can become “lazy” if played with too much. 

There are also step files for remixes or making your own print-in-place pattern in a CAD software.
