Dinosaur Lantern Kit – T-Rex Parts for Granini Bottle St. Martin Lantern

When our toddler’s playgroup made St. Martin’s lanterns from empty Granini juice bottles using paint and a chestnut inside for swirling colors, I wanted to take it a step further. Our little one asked for a dinosaur lantern, so I designed these 3D-printed add-on parts to turn the bottle into a cute T-Rex!

 This model includes:

• Two arms
• Two legs
• Two head halves (left & right)
• One tail with a spiky back ridge

 All parts have a black outline for a fun, cartoon-like look that makes the dino friendly and child-appropriate. The pieces are lightweight and flat, printed in three 0,2 mm layers (0.6 mm total) to keep them flexible and allow easy gluing to the bottle.

 Printing details:

• Created using SVG-based layered graphics (use Prusaslicer v2.7 or higher!)
• File is structured for single-extruder printers using virtual extruder color changes (no MMU required)
• Material: PLA or PETG (use caution with hot glue on PLA)
• Layer height: 0,2 mm
• Glue parts directly onto the bottle after painting and drying

This model transforms a simple DIY bottle lantern into a colorful, cheerful T-Rex that’s sure to stand out in any lantern parade!
