Thick strike plate for gate or door lock

This is an extra thick strike plate that I made to fix a gate that wouldn't stay latched. The gate swells and shrinks depending on humidity and when it is dry for a few days the gate would not stay closed. This thick strike plate provides more area for the latch to grab, keeping the gate securely closed even when it's very dry. Link to Tinkercad if you want to copy and customize:
