Santa Hat Fidget - collapsible - easy print with nearly no material waste!

This small Santa hat–shaped fidget isn’t just eye-catching, it’s also a delightfully playful accessory for the holiday season. The model consists of two separately printable parts that can be easily snapped together after printing—no time-consuming or material-wasting color changes required.

For an extra festive look, simply add one color change to the inner part at the pom-pom (height 15mm). This gives you a clean, multi-color finish with minimal effort.

The fidget feels great in the hand, makes charming little clicking sounds when used, and thanks to its compact size, it can be stored anywhere—on your desk, in a drawer, or in your pocket.

The outer part and the pom-pom on the inner piece feature a subtle texture that gives the hat a more realistic and detailed appearance. Printed in PLA, the model looks clean, sturdy, and wonderfully Christmas-ready.

Recommended Print Settings

For optimal print quality, the model should be produced with 0.2 mm layer height, providing a good balance between detail and printing time. Use 5 top layers and 5 bottom layers to ensure solid surface coverage without visible gaps. The outer shell should consist of at least 3 wall lines to achieve sufficient strength and a clean finish. An infill density of 10% using a gyroid pattern is recommended, offering an efficient balance of stability and material usage while supporting the structure effectively.
