E3D V6 Hot End Mount and cooling

This is my version of the E3D V6 mount For my X axis Linear Rail. I used a 3mm piece of angled aluminium as a solid base. You will need to fabricate your own angled plate to use this mount (BUT read the next paragraph). The E3D fan mount and fan ducting however can be used with any design.

I also added my original mount that you can use without the aluminium plate, its mounted directly to the pellow block. I never saw anything in the print quality that led me to believe I needed a metal plate. I personally wanted more support after realizing I could flex the mount ever so slightly by pressing on it. The metal plate did not change the print quality that I can see.

The LED lights came from an old Light panel I had in my parts bin. They measure approximately 5x5x2mm (see Pic). The lights use a simple 20mA driver, it's a very cool and easy to use resistor replacement (See Pic). https://lighthouseleds.com/20ma-led-current-limiter-driver.html
