Retro Wooden Horse – noAMS

This model is inspired by the aesthetic of classic wooden toys. It is designed to be printed in separate parts, allowing you to choose your own color scheme when you use a single-color printer (without Multimaterial unit). The final model is assembled using glue.

It makes for a perfect shelf decoration or a fun project for those who enjoy precise model assembly.

🖨 Print Settings

• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Perimeters: 2
• Infill: 6% gyroid
• Supports: organic supports
• Surface effect: fuzzy skin (optional, slicer‑defined)
• Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.3 mm
• Fuzzy skin thickness: 0.3 mm

The optional fuzzy skin effect can add a soft, slightly furry texture reminiscent of horse fur.

📏 Model Size

• Standard height: 16 cm
Scaling notes:
• Scaling down not tested
• Scaling up works without any issues

🎨 Color Unit

• No color unit required
• Fully suitable for single‑color printers

🧩 Assembly

Important: This is not a "snap-fit" kit. You will need glue (such as CA glue/super glue or plastic cement) for a permanent bond.

  1. Preparation (Dry-fit): Before applying any glue, dry-fit all parts together. Make sure to clean off any remaining organic support material or minor imperfections to ensure a perfect fit.

  2. Body Assembly: First, place the Middle and Top body sections onto the Bottom section. Once everything aligns correctly, secure them with glue.

  3. Head: Attach and glue the head onto the prepared body.

  4. Legs: Insert the front legs into the designated slots in the body (they pass through the middle and top sections).

  5. Final Details: Glue the hooves to the legs, then attach the mane and finally the tail.
