Description
This is a combined tripod plate allowing you to switch seamlessly from a Freefly Movi Pro to a Miller DS series tripod in seconds. It is similar to the Ignite Digi Gimbal mate which combines the Movi and Ronin 2 Plates.
If you would like to see other combo plates please let me know.
I would highly recommend printing the camera plate with 8+ walls and a strong, stiff filament like PC, PPS-CF or PA6-CF.
3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 Tripod Screw
(1) Attach as a normal camera plate
(2) Switch between gimbal and handheld in seconds!
As the mating Movi plate interferes with the bottom side there is no room for a safety lock on the tripod plate, please be careful when using the plate on a DS series tripod as it will slide right off if it is not properly tightened.
I also do not recommend attaching more than a mirrorless / DSLR sized rig unless you are using an engineering grade filament or metal plate.
