Needed a solution to ensure the holes for installing a floating shelf would end up perpendicular to the Wall Surface and a Tool mounted Spirit Level seemed like a good solution so a 3D Scan and some CAD Modelling later we have Mounting Clip to attach one.

The Clip comes with some pretension, mounts along the sides, and uses the first Venting Slit at the top of the Housing as a Positioning Locator.

The Cold Shoe equipped Camera Spirit Level should slide nicely into the Mount from the Back and stay put with a Friction Fit - If yours doesn't shim it with a piece of Paper.

Print Instructions:

The Model comes pre-aligned and doesn't require Supports.
I'd suggest the usual 0.2mm Layer Height, 3 Perimeters, 5 Tops/Bottoms, 20% Infill.
I'd also recommend a not too brittle Material as the Clip does need to be able to flex during installation.
