Description
In Buddhist and Hindu symbolism, the "center of the wheel" is the point of absolute stillness. By stringing the figure here, I tried physically manifested the idea of being the "calm in the eye of the storm."
The figure looks perfectly relaxed and still, yet they are supported by the high tension of dozens of individual strings. It suggests that true peace requires a delicate, intentional balance.
"Stillness is the move. A hand-strung exploration of the balance between our internal peace and the external threads that connect us to the world."
Not scalable.

Getting it off the plate and removing support is actually not as dangerous as it seems, but still be careful. The strings have quite a lot of flexibility so they won't get damaged from a little bit of bending.
