Description
Penrose tiles are mathematical marvel: They are an example for “aperiodic tiling” which means you can go on with the pattern forever without it ever repeating itself. And for all that you need just two different tiles: darts and kites.
The discovery and the math behind this tiling is truly fascinating. If you want to know more read the Wikipedia articel about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penrose_tiling
Pretty easy to print. The files are oriented the right way.
If you want to it is easy to rescale the models. I changed the x- and y-dimensions to 75% while leaving z at 100%.
I also added two color changes on the layerheights of 1.60.and 2.20 mm (for 0.2mm layers). The color changes are optional because the pattern is well recognisable even in just one color.
