Description
I was missing a Boot Rubber Stopper on my MX5 NB, and because of that the boot was not sitting straight. I jumped into CAD and designed.
I printed in TPU 95A, with 2 walls and 8% infil and it feels good. You can also use 90A or 85A.
There are two versions:
"NoSupport" - This version has a slight angle that allows it to be printed without support, but it does end up with a very slight more play.
"TPUwithPLAsupport" - This version is perfect if you have a printer with tool changer or two hotends. The part that locks it into place is flat, so you should use PLA supports which you can easily remove after printing. This one is a perfect replica of the original rubber.
