This is a Remix of the V2 Made By MC 3D Design , i remake everything from scratch, but i keep the exact same shape and dimension !

With this new model , you can now mount one original spool holder on each side of the CFS Lite without buying any extra parts. The assembly is very simple, extremely sturdy, and does not interfere with the CFS unit or the print head movement.

Important note about the filament tube: The stock PTFE tube that comes with the printer is too short when the spools are mounted on the sides. If you want to use the side spool holders, you will need a new, slightly longer PTFE tube (approximately +20 cm).

Uses the factory spool holders (perfect compatibility )
Spools are perfectly positioned on the sides and very easy to access

Printing recommendations:

I printed and tested the model in PLA
For extra strength and rigidity With PLA, I recommend 40 % infill with Gyroid pattern

Otherwise Use the exact same settings as the original model
Print in the recommended orientation (see photos)

If you have the CFS Lite on your SparkX I7, this remix makes your life a lot easier! 👍

To install this Top Mount remix on your SparkX I7:

Remove the top horizontal bar: Remove the 2 dark gray end caps.
Unscrew the 4 screws on each side of the bar.
Remove the bar.
With the bar removed: Unscrew the 2 small screws on each side of the original CFS mount.
Slide out the 2 main parts.
Reassemble everything in reverse order
