We Are Not Alone

Another exercise in photogrammetry. These are 3 penguin statues as an installation 'We Are Not Alone' by Parry Jones, in the Exchange area of Dunedin, New Zealand.

As these were bronzes statues they ware quite reflective thus difficult to scan & process properly. Unfortunately not as good as a non-reflective subject.

Taller print was first draft at 0.2mm and keyring version shown at 0.1mm and printed at 66%

40-70 photos per statue, then put through Meshroom to generate the stl.

Painted afterwards in copper to somewhat replicate the bronze.
