Description
I printed my first Lucky 13 in PET-G (Fiberlogy Easy PET-G) for the armature and PLA (Fillamentum PLA Crystal Clear Tangerine Orange) for the skin which worked great since each individual part is made from just one material. Even though I print both fillaments at a close temperature the same combination of materials didn't really stuck together when i tried to print the base with a simple fillament change.
I thought about glueing the parts together but remembered how vapors of my super glue ruined translucent PLA surfaces the last time i tried.
So i decided to modify the the ornaments to be geometrically inserted into the lower half of the base and print them in simulating multiple Extruders to my trusty I3 Mk3S+ (set up multiple tool heads and tool change commands… you know the drill).
Happy filament swapping!
